The beautiful artwork has intricate design and detail.  It is crafted from gaboon veneer plywood and medium density fibreboard, embellished with New Zealand Paua and Mother of Pearl laminate.

In Maori culture the Pikorua (twist) design signifies undying love or friendship between two people or cultures.  It represents two fern shoots entwining each other.   The figure eight design, with no beginning or end, represents an eternal bond between the two people, consisting of love, friendship, family, togetherness and loyalty.

This beauty measures approximately 56cm x 28cm x 2cm (22' x 11' x 3/4').
